RAPAPORT... Stornoway Diamond Corporation confirmed that a strike action by the Alliance of Unionized Construction Workers of Quebec has been settled. The explorer told investors this past week that the strike resulted in limited interruption on the construction of its Renard diamond mine road.

With the strike no longer an issue, any prior interruption to construction activities is expected to be negligible in the long run. The Renard mine road continues to progress on schedule and within budget, according to Stornoway.

In other news, Stornoway appointed Orin Baranowsky as its  director of investor relations. Baranowsky will be based in Toronto alongside Stornoway's president and CEO, Matt Manson, and will be responsible for Stornoway's shareholder communications and equity market relationships.

Baranowsky has more than 15 years of experience in capital markets, during which he held appointments in the junior gold sector and as a sell-side analyst with Bank of Montreal.
