Signature IIJS to Run Alongside WFDB Meet

RAPAPORT... The Signature IIJS jewelry show will take place in Mumbai
from February 6 to 9, coinciding with the World Federation of Diamond Bourses
(WFDB) presidents’ meeting.
The 10th edition of Signature IIJS will be held at the
Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, a suburb of Mumbai. More than 550
exhibitors and 13,000 visitors are expected to attend, India’s Gem &
Jewellery Export Promotion Council said.
The first phase of visitor registration has been extended to
January 31 in order to accommodate visitors impacted by India’s demonetization
policy, the GJEPC added.
The show will occur at the same time as the biennial presidents’ meeting
of the WFDB and the International Diamond Manufacturers Association, which
will take place from February 5 to 8 in Mumbai. The event will feature an “in-depth and comprehensive” diamond
financing seminar and roundtable attended by finance experts from across the
world.
The GJEPC said the fourth edition of the India Gem &
Jewellery Machinery Expo, one of the market’s leading gem and jewelry
technology fairs, will also be held February 6 to 9 at the same venue as the Signature
IIJS fair.
