Nestled in the heart of New York City’s trendy Meatpacking
District is the newest Efva Attling boutique. The Swedish
model-turned-pop-star-turned-jewelry-designer has a sleek, contemporary aesthetic
to her jewelry, much of which is inspired by people in love and by
inspirational words captured in her “Beauty with a Thought” pieces. In addition
to her stores, the designer’s work will be exhibited at the Couture show at the
Wynn hotel in Las Vegas, where she will showcase her diamond engagement rings
and fashion-forward silver and gemstone collection.

Watch brand Raymond Weil sponsored Elle magazine’s third
annual Women in Music and the VH1 Save the Music Foundation events. Raymond
Weil celebrated Elle’s Women in Music issue, out this month, by sponsoring a
private concert in Los Angeles featuring women artists, including Jessie J,
Ellie Goulding and Oh Land. DJ Daisy O’Dell was spinning tunes between
performances. Facebook fans had an opportunity to win a Raymond Weil watch signed
by some of Elle’s featured artists through a Raymond Weil Facebook post event.
The brand also cosponsored the VH1 Save The Music Songwriters Music Series
featuring Robin Thicke. In the lead-up to the occasion, Raymond Weil sponsored
the social media initiative, “Songwriters Moments in Time with Raymond Weil,”
providing audiences with a behind-the-scenes look at each songwriter’s
experience, along with an opportunity to win tickets to the VH1 Save The Music
Foundation’s, Songwriters Music Series event.
The worlds of fantasy and tangible reality converge in the
Octium collection, created by Fahad Al Hajiri and Alanood Al Sabah of Kuwait.
The collection is based on the octagon shape and the number eight. The shapes
recur throughout the line of rose gold or yellow gold jewelry, with or without diamonds, creating simple, yet
unconventional designs. The firm has a store in Kuwait and a boutique in
Harrods of London. The firm will
be showcasing its designs at the 2012 Couture show at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.
