Designer Lines

By Amber Michelle
Color blooms with gemstones packed into rock crystal from Maurer Hutchison. The collection is available in ten different shapes with a variety of gems. Pieces can be chosen for birthstone, or as mommy-and-me pendants, which are matching shapes with the birthstone of the mother and child inside. Fashion pieces mix or match colors in drop earrings or necklaces.
Edgy but elegant, each piece in the J&Y Rocks diamond jewelry brand by designer Jane Berg is named after a famous rock ‘n’ roll song. The “Rocks Your Way™” collection of convertible earrings is the centerpiece of the line and allows multiple options for expressing one’s personal style by adding links, connectors or charms to a diamond huggie or hoop earring.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2013 in New York City was the setting for the debut of Trunfio Jewels, a fine jewelry brand launched by Australian supermodel Nicole Trunfio. The centerpiece of the collection, the Trunfio Universe Bracelet™ bowed in a two-page spread in The Daily Front Row, a fashion-week publication. A limited edition of the Trunfio Universe Bracelet, featuring the collection’s signature gold pyramid, benefits Fatigues to Fabulous, an organization with a mission to help returning military veterans. When not walking the runways, Ms. Trunfio is at the bench designing and overseeing the manufacture of her collection in New York City.
