PROFILE
Sam’s Club is a retail membership warehouse club with more than 47 million members and 612 warehouses in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Sam’s Club offers five types of memberships — for individuals and families, business owners and managers, an upgraded membership for all shoppers, a membership for college students and a membership for active and retired U.S. military personnel.
The warehouse club offers a wide range of merchandise in many categories, including electronics and computers, office, home, furniture, auto and tires, outdoor and patio, grocery, pharmacy, health and beauty, jewelry, toys and video games, sports and fitness, restaurant supplies and books. Sam’s Club also has a host of proprietary brands for grocery items, beauty products and liquors.

JEWELRY
Sam’s Club offers a selection of diamond, precious metal and gemstone jewelry, with a focus on rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and bridal jewelry. While some of Sam’s Club’s jewelry hits price points similar to Wal-Mart, it also offers a larger variety of more expensive items. On average, the prices for its jewelry items range from $25 to $10,000, though most items over $5,000 are bridal jewelry or engagement rings.
Like Wal-Mart, some of Sam’s Club’s diamond jewelry items are certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI) and come with either a certificate of authenticity, an evaluation report, an appraisal summary or, for pendants and rings, a seal of inspection. Sam’s Club also carries the Wal-Mart proprietary jewelry brand Love, Earth and its collection of gold and silver earrings, necklaces and bracelets that consumers can trace back to its origin.
Other brands and collections that Sam’s Club offers include Chetan Collection, Eterno Amor, Everlon, Fifth Avenue, Halo, Icon, Loves Ultimate Expression, Othahyuni, Posh Mommy, Premier Diamond, Regal, Roberto Ricci, Silvermist, Susan Blake, Unity and VS Collection.
Sam’s Club also sells multiple jewelry care plans for jewelry items, depending on their price point. These plans entitle a jewelry owner to unlimited free repairs for up to seven years, even if the jewelry is passed along as a gift.
