In a celebration of creativity, the Couture Design Awards were announced at a cocktail party held in the Encore Ballroom in the Wynn Hotel during the Couture Show in Las Vegas. Retailers, designers and others from the Couture community came together to fete designers and their talent and artistry. In addition to awards that honor design, The Human Spirit Award, which is given to a member of the Couture community who maintains “an exceptional generosity of mind and spirit,” was presented to Jim Rosenheim of Tiny Jewel Box in Washington, D.C. Individuals in this category are leaders in the jewelry community who are committed to philanthropy, the needs of the industry and high standards of excellence and integrity in business. Congratulations to the winners, followed by the first and second runners-up in each of the 12 categories. Bridal: Finn; Furrer Jacot and Mark Patterson.
