Nuance

By Amber Michelle
A nod to 1960s mod, and a bow to 1970s boho-chic are key to the eclectic offerings from the Spring/Summer 2015 runway shows. Loose fits and layers continue to define fashion while stripes — vertical, horizontal or mixed — are directional, gingham is resurrected and lace takes its place at the fashion buffet. Florals bloom everywhere, while patterns and prints bursting with color juxtapose the simplicity of black, white, black and white, or white accented with black. Long, short or in-between hemlines, sometimes all in one piece, continue to be seen. Statement earrings, chunky necklaces, collars and stacks of bangles and rings on every finger were all bedazzling on the catwalk. Here are some of the most wearable trends from the upcoming season.
