Designer Lines

A frog and a prince, a bull and bullfighter, a whale and Jonah, a pink elephant and a tipsy writer…these are some of the fanciful tales brought to life by Wendy Brandes in her Maneater Collection. Each ring features a jeweled sculptural creature on top of the ring and a hidden man nestled inside the shank. Brandes left a career as a journalist to design jewelry and has been doing so since 2005. She won the Fashion Group International 2012 Rising Star Award for Fine Jewelry and has also won an award from the American Jewelry Design Council’s New Talent Competition as well as an American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) Spectrum 2014 award. Brandes’ jewelry has been worn by several celebrities, including Rihanna and Hayden Panettiere. Additionally, her designs have been featured in Elle, British Vogue and InStyle.

The boho 1970s are a major influence in the spring/summer 2015 fashions and designer Pamela Dale creates artistic, handcrafted jewelry that reflects that vibe. Inspired by contrast — raw/refined, rough/smooth, organic/geometric — each of Dale’s creations harnesses the beauty of nature. After graduating with a business degree, Dale attended New York City’s Isabel O’Neil Studio Workshop and Parsons The New School of Design. Along the way, she developed her style of “perfectly imperfect” designs that incorporate unusual gemstones in organic forms. Many of her designs feature peach, rose or pink recycled gold.
Designer Anthony Lent unveiled the latest addition to his Muse Collection, The Vulcana Ring. Mystery and mythology along with divine and inspirational images are the focus of the Muse Collection, which combines visions of gods and goddesses with studies of the human form. A miniature sculpture, the Vulcana Ring is created in 18-karat gold, diamonds and oxidized sterling silver.
