Diamonds Do Good
Chow Tai Fook, the China-based jewelry retailer, has created the most recent version of the Diamonds Do Good bracelet, which raises funds to support the Diamond Empowerment Fund’s (D.E.F.) mission of supporting educational initiatives in diamond communities around the world. This bracelet makes an important statement since today’s consumer is socially aware and wants to know that what they buy will benefit someone else. To help with that mission, the D.E.F. has created materials for retailers that will explain the program to consumers.

THE BRACELET:
The reversible bracelet is a diamond silhouette shape with a green chrysoprase slice behind it and a diamond accent on the front. The words “do good” are written on the back in graffiti lettering. The charm is on an adjustable leather strap. In addition to the bracelet, a lapel pin is also available.

MISSION STATEMENT:
From the Society, for the Society

The Charities:
“Bao Bao Family Smart Dreamer”
A series of drawing competitions organized by Chow Tai Fook held in over 40 cities in Mainland China.
Over 6,000 children have participated since 2009. Funds raised from the competition are for children’s education and family support.
In 2015, the program was expanded to include a charitable art exhibition to raise public awareness of caring for children with special needs.

“Yo Dancical”
An event organized by Youth Outreach to help at-risk youth boost self-confidence.
Each year since 2014, Chow Tai Fook has been the title sponsor of the annual street-dancing fundraiser shows.

UNICEF
Under the Diamonds Do Good initiative, Chow Tai Fook has partnered with UNICEF to provide maternal education and healthcare programs in rural villages in Mainland China.
Chow Tai Fook supports the China Children’s Week “Little Artists Big Dreams Drawing Competition,” a fundraiser for UNICEF’s Cash Transfers for Deprived Children project that provides pregnant women in rural areas with cash incentives for lifesaving health care services.
For two years, the jewelry company has been a sponsor of Charity Run, a fundraiser supporting “Unite for Children, Unite Against AIDS,” which provides treatment for HIV- infected pregnant and breastfeeding women to prevent transmission from mother to child.
