Celestial jewels


Diamonds that twinkle in more ways than one.

Half-moons of tightly packed glitter rising over the eyes of models on the SS19 catwalks at London Fashion Week have given us the nod that celestial style is going to be big this year.

It’s a motif that jewelry does well. Star shapes can provide the ideal setting for diamonds, and make for brilliant repeating patterns that can dance around ring shanks or stack up to create ear climbers.

New star collections that jewelers and watchmakers have released favor sharp spikes over curvy edges, including twinkling jewels that pay homage to the elongated proportions of the compass rose.
