India to Hold Jewelry Trends Forecasting Seminar in December

(Rapaport...November 19, 2004) India will hold its first international trends forecasting seminar for the jewelry sector in Mumbai on December 4-5, the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) said at a press conference on Friday.

The seminar will help jewelry manufacturers and exporters to understand future trends and styles and to upgrade the quality and design of their products in accordance with the needs of the international market.

The speakers will include Paola De Luca, the creative director of London-based TJF Forecasting; Eddie Prentice, the managing director of CRU Publishing Ltd., also based in London; and Nathalie Colin, the founder of Paris-based Trends Forecasting Agency.
