(Rapaport...NY, Nov. 16, 1998) De Beers has appointed Richard Lennox to head the U.S. De Beers team at J. Walter Thompson in New York. Most recently, Lennox has been part of the London-based Global Business Unit of De Beers. While there, he has been an integral part of the Millennium project and the development of the De Beers brand. Prior to his London assignment, Lennox was based at J. Walter Thompson in Tokyo. Lennox will assume his new post in early December 1998.
