JCK Events Becomes Supporter of Responsible Jewellery Council

RJC Membership Exceeds 300 Companies

Press Release: The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) today announced that JCK Events, the leading producer of trade events around the world in the fine jewellery industry, has become an official Supporter of the Council.

In becoming a Supporter of the Council, JCK Events is the second jewelry trade fair to align its commitment to transparent business endeavors with the RJC’s mission to advance ethical practices throughout the jewelry supply chain, from mine to retail.

The Responsible Jewellery Council is an international not-for-profit organization bringing together more than 300 member companies committed to promoting responsible ethical, human rights, social and environmental practices in a transparent and accountable manner throughout the jewelry industry from mine to retail. The Council has developed the RJC System, a certification system – which will apply to all Members’ businesses that contribute to the diamond, gold and platinum group metals jewellery supply chain. All Commercial Members of the RJC are required to be audited by accredited, third party auditors to verify their conformance with the RJC’s Code of Practices and become certified under the RJC System.
