Shane Co. Launches Mobile Shopping Website

RAPAPORT... U.S retailer Shane Co., operator of 20 stores in 13 states,  launched its mobile website, which is a simplified version of its  main website and optimized for mobile devices such as iPhones and Android smartphones.

The mobile website's interface will allow mobile users to browse the company’s entire inventory and place orders, use Shane Co.'s “Design-Your-Own” tool to customize rings, earrings, pendants and charms with the gemstones of their choice, access gemstone and jewelry educational content,  and access their “Wish List” as well as their family and friends' “Wish Lists.”

Price Blanchard, the executive vice president of merchandising and marketing at Shane Co., said, "Leveraging the mobility of today's consumer in our ever-increasingly busy world, we view the new mobile website as an important tool in communicating to our customers that we understand their needs.''

Shane Co.’s director of e-commerce, Correy Honza, added, ''This cutting-edge site really will make shopping for jewelry easier and the Shane Co. brand even stronger and more relevant in our constantly evolving environment."

The new mobile website was designed and developed by Shane Co.'s in-house web development team, with assistance from their mobile partner MobileFusion.
