James Avery to Open in Overland Park

RAPAPORT... James Avery plans to open a jewelry store in Overland Park, Kansas come April 2012. The new store will be at the Oak Park Mall, which is the largest mall in Kansas and the neighboring state of Missouri, and will feature an extensive selection of predominantly handcrafted jewelry, with designs including sterling silver, 14-karat gold and gemstones.

The Oak Park Mall location will be James Avery's first store in the Midwestern U.S.  The company's Kansas City opening is part of an ongoing growth strategy that is primarily focused on that region as well as  the southeastern U.S.  With the opening of this location in Overland Park, James Avery will operate a total of 64 stores across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, North Carolina, and Kansas.
