RAPAPORT... A total of 2,525 cut diamonds set into one ring have entered the Guinness World Records.

The ring, "Tsarevna Swan," was created by the Lobortas Classic Jewelry House (Ukraine) and was presented and measured in Kyiv, Ukraine earlier in 2011, according to the Guinness World Records.

The ring’s price is set at $1.3 million based upon the cost of materials and labor, artistic value and ring estimates from independent jewelers.

All the diamonds for the ring were supplied by India-based Shrenuj & Co. Ltd. The company reported that the stones have a combined weight of 10.48 carats, and included diamonds of 0.001-carat to 0.05-carat, with G color and VVS2-VS1 clarities.

The ring is currently being showcased in Kiev and will be exhibited around the world, a spokesperson for Shrenuj said.
