RAPAPORT... Stuller  kicked off the year with its first Facebook promotion—an all-expense paid trip to the company's annual bench jeweler workshop held at its global headquarters in Lafayette, Louisiana from March 25 to 27.  To win, Stuller directed entrants to  “Like” its Facebook page by February 29 and then complete the registration form. The prize, up to a $1,000 in value, will be awarded to a Stuller customer and applied towards their trip to the workshop, covering airfare, lodging and registration fees.

The bench jeweler workshop features two  days of classes, seminars and demonstrations on subjects ranging from diamond-grading to understanding contemporary metals. It also includes the industry’s top vendors and Stuller experts on site to answer any questions. MJSA's president, David W. Cochran, will give this year’s keynote address.

''Connecting with our customers through social media provides us another opportunity to learn their needs and cater to them more personally,'' said Ashley Brown, the executive director of marketing services at Stuller. ''Our social media avenues offer a variety of benefits for customers including fun promotions, tips from Stuller experts, sneak peek product reviews and much more.''

Stuller also has a presence on Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.
