RAPAPORT... Fiera di Vicenza, an Italy-based exhibition management company, signed a cooperation ‎agreement with Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), which enables Fiera di Vicenza to act as the center's representative for jewelry, gold and watch‎making at the exhibition ‎center in Dubai.

‎“Relations between Fiera di Vicenza, the Emirates and the Middle East aim at collaboration,” said Roberto Ditri president of Fiera di Vicenza. “The Arab world loves gold ‎and precious stones, it appreciates Italian jewelry, Italian products and the European style in all ‎high range segments.”

‎“I am sure that signing the agreement today will open new collaboration prospects and will ‎bring much satisfaction to Fiera di Vicenza, Italy, Europe, Dubai and the Arab World,” Ditri ‎noted.

Fiera di Vicenza, which organizes VICENZAORO show, will be the official coordinator for the ‎participating Italian and European brands and companies, and will act as the exclusive ‎representative for all the E.U. markets at the next edition of the Dubai International Jewellery ‎Week.

Trixee Loh, the senior vice president of the DWTC, said the alliance would increase visibility and will ‎promote commercial and business opportunities, not only for producers but also for potential ‎buyers of gold and jewelry in Europe and the Middle East.  ‎

The official signing of the partnership took place at the end of the first day of the CIBJO World ‎Congress, an event of the World Jewellery Forum in Vicenza.‎
