RAPAPORT... As part of its latest promotion, Jewelry Television® (JTV) plans to showcase rare gems during its ''Exotic World of Gemstones'' television special to be broadcast from July 20 through 22. JTV will feature ammolite and moldavite set in fine gold, as well as morganite, chrome diopside, mystic topaz and sapphire. Another element of the event will be the launch of sillimanite jewelry, which JTV described as a rare collector’s gemstone with color ranging in hues from green and yellow to gray and colorless. “Exotic gemstones are not only our specialty but a top-seller among viewers,” said Haley Maples, JTV's gemstone jewelry buyer. “We have styles for every taste and budget imaginable because we believe in giving our customers exactly what they want.”
