Helzberg Diamonds created a new smartphone application, the Proposal Pro™: A Complete Guide to Popping the Question, to provide its customers with help in navigating their way through the engagement experience. The mobile app advises users on points such as ''asking her parents'' to ''putting the perfect ring on her finger'' and supports an automated ring sizer. “Proposing marriage is the most important question you’ll ever ask,” said Beryl Raff, the chairman of Helzberg Diamonds. “But, there are not many resources available to guide you through the process. This app walks you through every aspect, from selecting the right place and time to determining her ring size. It is the only application of its kind.” Proposal Pro offers information on how to select a ring, define the 4Cs and to plan a proposal. The app can help consumers create a proposal timeline, browse locations to select the ''perfect spot'' in an effort to help ease one's nerves, according to the retailer. “This is more than a way to browse engagement rings,” said Raff. “It gives shoppers an engagement expert at their fingertips, not just to educate them about diamonds, but also to help them with the whole proposal process.” The app is available at iTunes and Google Play stores.
