Press Release: Tara Jewellers, which launched its new format showroom in 2010, is now enhancing its presence in India by opening new company managed stores. The brand launched six new stores in Bhatinda, Jalandhar, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ludhiana and Udaipur in a short span, making a total of 36 stores in 25 cities across north, west and central India. With more store launches in the pipeline Tara Jewellers will soon have 50 company managed stores across 37 cities in India.

To complement their expansion plans and expanded retail footprint, Tara Jewellers also launched their first ever television commercials with two distinct messages.

One message provides an emotional connection, which highlights  how jewelry is important for most Indian occasions and is an everlasting factor that connects all relationships.

The second television commercial was an extension of the first, with a rational message highlighting key features of the brand:  17 years of experience in international retail, features affordable luxury collections which are certified quality diamonds by international third party Gem Labs and BIS hallmarked gold, free gold purity testing and Golden Return Monthly Saving Schemes

The campaign was backed by a strategic 360 degree communication plan.

Vikram Raizada, the executive director and CEO of retail for Tara Jewellers, said, “At Tara Jewellers, we are expanding both in width of presence and depth of penetration with presence in tier I, tier II and tier III cities. These expansion plans are in line with our growth plans, as we see a shift of consumers from the unorganized to organized markets as they want certified and reliable jewelry and enhanced services. We launched our first two television commercials this month on national television channels and this will help augment our growth plans. We currently already retail in the states of Delhi, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab and Rajasthan.”

The retail stores are currently present in Ahmedabad, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Baroda, Bhatinda, Bhopal, Goa, Indore, Jabalpur, Jalgaon, Jalandhar, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Kolhapur, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, New Delhi, Pune, Rajkot, Solapur, Surat and Udaipur.

In addition to the domestic market, the company also holds a strong presence in the international markets such as Australia, China, Canada, European Union, South Africa, U.K., U.S., South America and Central America
