The PGI USA awards are judged by innovation and skill in platinum design for bridal as well as fashion jewelry and gives awards in seven categories. The necklace was submitted for the Platinum Red Carpet Jewelry nomination and was the top vote getter amongst the jewelers and visitors attending the JCK Las Vegas.

“It was gratifying to see how many retailers and other manufacturers walked by the booth and had to stop to look at, and of course vote, for this stunning necklace,” said LKI’s vice president, Marcee Feinberg. “The recognition of being the buyer’s choice award winner for the best Platinum Red Carpet Jewelry confirms that we did indeed create a piece that captures the essence of our 110 years: classic, timeless and unique.”

The 110th anniversary necklace contains 135 ideal cut Lazare Diamonds that are each laser inscribed. The center diamond in the necklace features a 3.14-carat Lazare Diamond; however, the necklace is designed with a detachable clasp so the center diamond may be interchanged with an even larger Lazare Diamond.

LKI sells its diamonds and jewelry products through a worldwide distribution network. The company is noted for its ideal cut diamonds which it markets internationally under the brand name, Lazare Diamonds®. LKI has been an innovator in the diamond industry since its debut in 1903 and is a full supporter of ethical industry standards as a founding member of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, an initiative supporting universal ethical, social, human rights and environmental principles.
