Given by Patricia Syvrud, the president and CEO of Joia Consulting LLC, and an experienced expert witness on jewelry design and copyright issues, the session will address things such as what makes a brand, what elements you need to consider in building your brand and examples of successful brands and branding elements. Syvrud will be joined by Sarah Crispi, a New York-based senior attorney responsible for Limited Brands' well-known Victoria's Secret, Pink and Henri Bendel brands, among others. The brand-savvy Crispi will talk about the differences between a trademark, copyright and design patent, key branding elements of their brands and what keeps her up at night!
