Press Release: You're smart, you're talented, you've got a great eye for jewelry design, and you've launched your jewelry company. Everyone who sees your jewelry will "get it," and soon you'll be a household name, right? But what are the elements you need to consider when thinking "Big Picture" about your brand and company? Is it enough just to have a great jewelry aesthetic? Since it can be difficult to be truly unique in jewelry design, jewelers, designers and manufacturers need to think long and hard about their brand, their style, and what makes them unique.

“The Big Picture: Setting Your Brand Apart” will be presented on Sunday, July 28 at 2 p.m. at the JA NY Summer Show, Jacob Javits Convention Center. Given by Patricia Syvrud, the president and CEO of Joia Consulting LLC, and an experienced expert witness on jewelry design and copyright issues, the session will address things such as what makes a brand, what elements you need to consider in building your brand and examples of successful brands and branding elements.

Syvrud will be joined by Sarah Crispi, a New York-based senior attorney responsible for Limited Brands' well-known Victoria's Secret, Pink and Henri Bendel brands, among others. The brand-savvy Crispi will talk about the differences between a trademark, copyright and design patent, key branding elements of their brands and what keeps her up at night!

Don’t miss what’s sure to be a valuable session.

Date:  Sunday, July 28, 2013 at  2 p.m.
