Press Release: Roberto Coin, the world-renowned Italian jewelry designer and manufacturer, will be a guest of honor during the April 6 to 10 U.S. & International Diamond Week in Israel. Coin will tour the trading floor of the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE), where more than $1 billion worth of diamonds will be offered for sale by more than 400 diamond suppliers. He will also give a presentation on the changing landscape of jewelry design, the strong connection between fashion trends and design and the challenges posed by the Millennium generation of young consumers. Together with Coin and his wife and partner Pilar, diamond buyers hailing from more than 20 countries will attend the spring edition of the U.S. & International Diamond Week. Diamond buyers will be given a unique opportunity to pick and choose the polished diamonds they need to stock their diamond inventories. "We're very pleased that Roberto Coin has confirmed his arrival to the U.S. & International Diamond Week," said IDE's president, Shmuel Schnitzer. "He and his colleagues will have an opportunity to find an unprecedented, varied and wide a choice of diamonds, from low priced commercial goods to the top rated large single stones."
The U.S. & International Diamond Week comes on the heels of leading gem and jewelry shows in Europe and many buyers will make their way directly from Europe so as not to miss this five-day diamond marketing festival, held on the trading floor of the world's largest and most active diamond exchange. Registered buyers are offered up to four nights free hotel rooms at one of the venue hotels of the U.S. & International Diamond Week.
