Press Release: Suncrest Diamonds, the creator of the first and only collection of beautiful pink, yellow and green natural diamonds that have been high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) processed, today announced the availability of a new line of radiant orchid diamonds and diamond jewelry at affordable prices for retailers nationwide.

"Since 1959, our family-owned business has focused on catering to each customer's individuality," said Deb Borgemoen of Wickersham Jewelry, with locations in Rothschild, Rhinelander and Marshfield, Wisconsin. "Our customers are much more aware of industry styles and trends than ever before. With radiant orchid pink diamonds from Suncrest Diamonds, we can now offer our customers something they've rarely seen before — in a wide range of beautiful pink colors."

Suncrest Diamonds carefully selects diamonds that have been mined from the earth. These diamonds are then heated under high pressures (up to 1 million pounds per square inch) to bring out each stone's stunning color and natural beauty. The HPHT process replicates the natural process of heat and pressure that occurs in the earth when diamonds are initially formed.

Sonny Pope, the general manager of Suncrest Diamonds, said, "Pantone's announcement, highlighting radiant orchid as the color of the year in 2014, was music to our ears. Beautiful pink HPHT diamond jewelry has always been our specialty. With improvements to our process, we've been able to identify and enhance unique and rare diamonds in stunning shades of orchid."

Following the HPHT process, an additional treatment that combines irradiation and annealing is applied to Suncrest pink and orchid diamonds to ensure that their brilliant color is fully saturated throughout the stone. This treatment ensures that the brilliant pink or orchid color within the diamond will never fade or diminish over time. Pink and orchid Suncrest diamonds (0.75 carats and larger) can include certification designating that the diamond has been Suncrest Pink Processed.

Suncrest Diamonds is offering special pricing for retailers who want to add this new line of radiant orchid diamonds and diamond jewelry to in-store displays. Sizes are available up to 3 carats. Suncrest will be showcasing its radiant orchid diamonds at The Smart Jewelry Show in Chicago, April 5 to 7 at booth 2400.

Suncrest will also conduct a seminar detailing the color diamond market and the special processes that go into color diamonds in room 313 at The Smart Jewelry Show on April 4 at 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
