RAPAPORT... Jewelry Television (JTV) appointed Burt Bagley as vice president of content distribution after serving as vice president of affiliate relations for shopping channel. Bagley has been with JTV for 11 years, during which time the channel's reach has grown from 28 million to more than 84 million households.
"We're excited to add Burt Bagley to our executive team," said Tim Matthews, the CEO and president of JTV. "He brings a high level of experience in the cable industry and is very knowledgeable regarding our business and immediate objectives." Prior to joining JTV, Bagley served as affiliate account director for ABC Cable Networks and affiliate account manager for The Weather Channel. Bagley said, "I am honored and excited to be taking on a more strategic position. I will be focused on expanding affiliate relationships and identifying new ways to position JTV as a leading cable entertainment provider."
