Press Release: The London Diamond Bourse (LDB) is delighted to announce it signed a deal with the Retail Jeweller to sponsor the Inspiring Independents Awards on October 22 in London. The 50-strong list, considered to be the best of independent jewelers, was first launched in 2010 and continues to champion those stores that do everything to the highest level possible. LDB considers these values to be a perfect marriage with its new membership categories. The event marks the beginning of the LDB's celebration of its 75th anniversary and is the first time the organization sponsored an industry event. LDB will focus its efforts, in the forthcoming year, on bringing more members into the fold, with an advertising campaign tagline "Give your customer and suppliers confidence that you operate your business to the highest of standard and best business practice." The sponsorship of Retail Jeweller's Inspiring Independents follows LDB's successful debut at International Jewellery London (IJL) and the launch of its diamond platform, which dovetails with recent additions to the membership offering. Harry Levy, the president of LDB, said, “We are delighted, and it gives me great pleasure, to announce our sponsorship of this event. We believe sponsorships like this will help us reach new audiences and continue to help us grow. Couple this with our new diamond trading platform and we are growing our membership at the fastest rate for a decade.” Victoria McKay, the chief operation officer at LDB, said, “The Inspiring Independent event is a great start to our brand sponsorship portfolio.
