Press Release: The year 2014 has been a year of success for SRK. It began with the celebration of SRK's founder, Govind Dholakia, having completed 50 years in diamond industry and ended with three prestigious industry awards, designated by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).
For the second time, SRK was awarded “Exporter of the Year” along with, “Cut & Polished Diamonds – Highest Turnover” and the “Most Socially Responsible Company,” by the GJEPC. The apex body conferred Indian diamantaires with awards in various categories and took time was to acknowledge various initiatives, innovations, milestones and the hard work of fellow people in industry. The event took place at NCPA, Mumbai India.
“It is always an honor to receive prestigious awards by the apex body of the industry. We are thankful to our 7,000 SRK family members, including 2,000 esteemed customers, banking partners and industry companions whose invaluable support and trust in SRK made us see these accolades. The awards are in recognition of the skills, talent and hard work of SRK's family members who really put their heart in crafting one masterpiece. When a shining version of stone, I hold in my hand it brings a hidden smile on face, it is only because each one is crafted with Integrity,” said Rahul Dholakia, the managing director of SRK Exports.
