Zalemark Appoints Zale as CEO and Blohm as Crayola Brand Director

RAPAPORT... Zalemark Holding Company Inc. appointed Steven Zale as the new CEO and Deborah Blohm as the company's Crayola brand director.

Zale has spent over 30 years designing fine jewelry and has a passion for creating designs that “make a statement.” He has received several  U.S. Commerce Design Awards, was named Forbes Designer of the Year in 2008 and earned two De Beers “Designer of the Year” awards.

Blohm is a third-generation jeweler and  received her graduate gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), a bachelor's of science degree in economics from San Diego State University and  studied jewelry design at FIT in New York.  She has worked for retail jewelry business for many years, including Blohm Jewelers, her family business, Ben Bridge Jewelers, Nordstrom and Jessop’s Jewelers.  

Blohm said she was excited to be a part of the dynamic Zalemark team and she  forward to continuing to create , inspire and speak about the world of gems.
