The top lot in the sale includes a 7.61-carat fancy purplish-pink diamond embellished with the rose-cut diamond border, rim, base, gallery and full tapered band of overlapping concentric semi-circles, will be offered at the sale for $2.8 million (HKD 22 million).
The second important lot of the sale, a sophisticated necklace comprised of 41 round jadeite beads of rich emerald green color and very good translucency suffused with deep green color, measuring from approximately 10.60 to 13.60 mm, accentuated by the diamond-studded spherical clasp, has an estimated value of $2.1 million (HKD 16 million).
A vibrant 10.15-carat, D/IF pear-shaped, type IIa diamond, flanked by overlapping fan shoulders pavé-set with diamonds, epitomizes the most chemically pure type of diamond with exceptional optical transparency. The ring has a pre-sale estimate of $1.4 million (HKD 11 million).
Of notable significance is a ring by Alessio Boschi. The 20.26-carat unheated sapphire of royal blue color, possessing high clarity and a superior degree of transparency, paired with the characteristic diamond and yellow-hued diamond settings, showcases the designer’s Roman Baroque heritage as well as his fascination with displaying his appreciation of the versatility of life. The ring is estimated at $619,000 (HKD 4.8 million).
A magnificent jadeite and diamond ring. The beautifully domed jadeite cabochon of evenly distributed vivid emerald green color, very good translucency, dense texture with extremely aqueous luster, has a pre-sale estimate of $387,000 (HKD 3 million).
Another noteworthy ring exhibiting a delicately textured oval jadeite cabochon of even, brilliant imperial green color and high translucency. Presenting a vivacious 10.18-carat radiant-cut fancy intense yellow diamond that is internally flawless, flanked by pentagonal step-cut diamond shoulders, the ring is estimated at $297,000 (HKD 2.3 million).
Another stunning piece is an 8.17-carat unheated spinel and diamond ring. The half-moon-shaped diamond shoulders effortlessly complement the luminous, scarce vivid orangy-red spinel of over eight carats, with an estimate of $110,000 (HKD 850,000).
An unmounted large fine-looking 21.35-carat conch pearl, with the entire stone’s beauty in full view. The sophisticated pink oval double-sided cabochon has a pre-sale estimate of $80,000 (HKD 620,000).
Additional distinguished items consists of a Gianmaria Buccellati butterfly brooch, which consists of a baroque cream and champagne pearl body to the pavé-set diamond textured wings, is of size unseen at auctions in the past decades. The unusually hefty piece is placed at an estimated value of $45,100 (HKD 350,000).
Further highlighted items from prestige jewelers include: a pair of Harry Winston diamond ear pendants, estimated at $90,200 (HKD 700,000), a Tiffany diamond bracelet, estimated at $62,000 (HKD 480,000); a Cartier jadeite and diamond ring, estimated at $28,400 (HKD 220,000); a Samuel Kung lavender jadeite and diamond ring, estimated at $12,900 (HKD 100,000); a Patrick Mauboussin kunzite, pink sapphire and diamond bangle, estimated at $31,000 (HKD 240,000).
A public exhibition of the jewels will take place from May 22 to 25 at the Conrad Hotel, Admiralty, in Hong Kong.
