RAPAPORT...  Content solution provider Next Galaxy Corporation created a virtual reality experience for the Richline Group Inc. to showcase wearable jewelry offerings at the JCK Vegas show.  The virtual reality experience is navigated using Next Galaxy's  CEEK platform with audio streaming through the CEEKARS 4D audio headphones, paired with a ZEISS VR ONE.  CEEK is a fully immersive entertainment and educational social virtual reality platform and simulates a communal experience -- such as concerts, sporting events, movies and conferences.

"We believe that wearable technology will continue to touch every facet of our lives, including our industry," said Richline Group's CEO, Dennis Ulrich. "Richline's foray into the marriage of jewelry and technology began with extensive research and we are thrilled to bring the best of what we've seen to JCK Las Vegas in order to help the jewelry industry better understand how connected devices will impact the future of jewelry."

Next Galaxy's CEO, Mary Spio, said that by just creating a virtual reality shopping experience for Richline, "we believe this is the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the potential for virtual reality to revolutionize shopping and ecommerce.  By providing the ability to preview content in new ways, our technology could dramatically improve sales and conversions."

Andreas Klavehn, the multimedia devices director at ZEISS, said, "We believe that shopping represents one of many potential applications for virtual reality technology and we're excited to be working with some of the foremost pioneers in the field to bring the technology to everyone."
