Russian Finance Minister Elected Chairman of ALROSA

RAPAPORT... ALROSA's supervisory board elected Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov as its chairman on Tuesday.

Yegor Borison, the head of the Russia's autonomous Republic of Sakha, was elected first vice chairman and Federal Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East, Alexander Galushka,  was named vice chairman.

Sakha, also known as Yakutia, is home to a majority of ALROSA's diamond mines. ALROSA is controlled by Russia's federal government and the Republic of Sakha, located in Russia's Far East region.
