RAPAPORT... The trademark “Arctic Brilliance Canadian Diamonds” (Reg. No. 4801869) was issued on September 1 by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to TXDC, L.P. Zale Delaware, Inc. The trademark application serial number 86041922 was filed on Aug. 19, 2013.

The description of the mark registered is "The color(s) red and black is/are claimed as a feature of the mark. The mark consists of the stylized wording "ARCTIC BRILLIANCE" in black; underneath the stylized wording "CANADIAN DIAMONDS" in red; to the left a black circle with a red maple leaf and transparent diamond with black outlining thereon; the color white is not claimed as a feature of the mark and merely denotes transparent areas."

The USPTO issued the Certified Sexy Diamonds trademark to the Florida-based “I Do Diamond Ring Boutique LLC” on August 18. Trademark application serial number 86072401 was filed on September 23, 2013, according to U.S. Fed News. The trademark refers to retail store services and online retail store services, featuring jewelry featuring diamonds. The company has been using the trademark since December 31, 2013.

United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office has published an application for the trademark "SIMPLY DIAMONDS" to Platnauer Group for various goods.

India’s Tara Jewels Ltd. received an approval from that country’s Office of The Trade Marks Registry for the Tara Jewellers trademark, with a registration number 2053078. The description of the mark is “wholesale & retail services relating to distribution through sale &/or purchase of diamonds, cut & polished diamonds of different shapes & sizes & colors, gold & diamond studded jewelry of all kinds. The application for the trademark was filed on November 12, 2010. Tara Jewels has been using Tara Jewellers since December 31, 1987.
