RAPAPORT... Botswana Diamonds will begin drilling in an area within the Gope mine that holds a high potential for diamond discoveries.

The program will start “shortly” at PL 186, part of the Maibwe (Brightstone) block of licences in the Gope region of Botswana.

The work will be undertaken by Maibwe Diamonds, in which Botswana Diamonds holds a 15-percent interest.

"We now know there are diamonds on PL 186,” said John Teeling, chairman of Botswana Diamonds. “The upcoming drilling is to establish the grade and quality."
