RAPAPORT... Tiffany & Co was adjudged the “most loved” among 60
retail brands that have a presence on social media, according to a report by analytics
company NetBase.
The report was based on more than 430 million posts on
social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram over the year to
July 27. Amazon was the most mentioned, but none of the brands matched Tiffany
for the level of positivity and passion among customers.
“Some brands are doing a much better job than others when it
comes to meeting customer expectations regarding products or customer service,”
said Paige Leidig, chief marketing officer at NetBase. “The holy grail is
leveraging what you learn online – such as what really motivates your audience
to click and purchase – and translating these findings into monetary return on investment for
your business.”
NetBase measured volume of conversation; brand awareness;
reach; net sentiment; and brand passion.
