Firestone Diamonds will sell its first batch of rough diamonds from the Liqhobong mine in Antwerp next month.

The event will run from February 6 to 10, with results expected the following week, the miner said. The company plans to host a second sale by the end of March and then continue with this pattern of two sales per quarter.

Construction and commissioning of the Lesotho-located mine was completed early in the fourth quarter, with production beginning in October.

In total, the company has extracted more than 20 special stones above 10.8 carats, the largest being a 37-carat white diamond, as well as several fancy yellow diamonds.
