RAPAPORT... Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America (MJSA) has introduced a new membership level for smaller companies.

Firms with one to three employees can now become “premium associate” members of the trade body, a status that offers more benefits than are available to regular associate members, MJSA said Monday. These extras include a free subscription to the monthly MJSA Journal, unlimited access to the organization’s library of technical and business articles, and a free copy of the MJSA Buyer’s Guide, as well as greater help with promoting products, finding supplies, and developing one’s business.

“The new ‘premier associate’ membership offers a middle ground for those companies that need more promotional and sourcing assistance but aren’t quite ready for our full ‘premier professional’ membership,” said David Cochran, CEO of MJSA.

The tier costs $295 annually, or just under $25 per month, he added.
