US Antique Shows and the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) have joined forces to hold their Las Vegas trade fairs in the same location. Beginning in June 2019, the AGTA GemFair Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch Show will take place alongside each other at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“We firmly believe that AGTA’s vendors and buyers are crucial to the success of our industry, and our Las Vegas Antique Jewelry and Watch Show vendors cater to a unique and varied group of qualified buyers,” said Gannon Brousseau, senior vice president of Emerald Expositions’ jewelry unit, which runs the Antique show. “There is tremendous cross-promotional appeal between these two autonomous yet complementary events, and this partnership will ultimately contribute to the prosperity of the entire trade.”

The partnership means that both shows will move from their current locations, with the AGTA GemFair taking place in the Mandalay Bay complex next to the JCK Las Vegas show for the last time in 2018. The Antique show, meanwhile, will occur at the Paris hotel again before making the move in 2019.

The decision comes as organizers of the JCK and Luxury shows announced those events will return to the Sands Expo and Convention Center in 2019.
