RAPAPORT... The Plumb Club, an alliance of suppliers to the jewelry, diamond and watch industries, has elected Michael Lerche of Goldstar Jewellery as its president.

Lerche (pictured) will succeed Jonathan Cohen of IB Goodman Company, who has stood down after serving the maximum term of three years. A.J. Tosyali of Benchmark will take on Lerche’s previous role as vice president.

The New Jersey-based organization, which works to connect members with customers, has also named Pranav Shah of KGS Jewels as a board member, replacing Sam Sandberg, who has reached the term limit of seven years. The appointments took effect July 1.

“I look forward to continuing and building on the strategic vision and leadership that Jonathan Cohen has provided for the past three years,” Lerche said. “With new strategic initiatives that we will be implementing, and the building of our new state-of-the-art pavilion for JCK Las Vegas 2019 at the Sands, the next year will be an exciting one for The Plumb Club members and our retail clients.”

The following board members will continue as directors of The Plumb Club:

Michael Langhammer of Quality Gold — treasurer and member of executive committee
Roger Forman of Marathon Company — secretary and member of executive committee
Victor Weinman of Original Designs (ODI) — pavilion chairman and member of executive committee
Corina Bhasin of F.D. Worldwide
Jeffrey Cohen of Citizen Watch America
Jonathan Cohen of IB Goodman
Roopam Jain of Jewelmark/Simply Diamonds
