H.K. Designs to Polish Endless Diamond Brand

RAPAPORT... H.K. Designs has signed an agreement with Fantasy Diamond
Corp. to be the exclusive manufacturer of the Endless Diamond collection.
The Endless design is based on the patented Touch Set setting, in which very little metal is used, enabling the diamonds to stand out. This
type of setting makes diamonds look two-and-a-half to three times larger than
their actual size, and also gives them a brighter shine, according to the company.
The partnership will increase awareness of Endless
Diamond and the Touch Set brand, and help expand its global reach, the jeweler
said.
“We believe this partnership will open new avenues of growth
and expansion for both organizations,” said Hasu Dholakia, president and founder
of H.K. Designs.
Fantasy Diamond Corp. previously licensed the Endless
patents to Nirav Modi’s Fantasy Inc., Richard Levin, the Chapter 11 trustee for
Fantasy Inc., told Rapaport News. Once liquidation of Modi’s assets
began, the bankruptcy court approved the termination of the licensing contract.
“We recently began searching for a new manufacturing partner, and H.K. Designs is that perfect partner,” said Joe Wein, CEO of Fantasy Diamond. “They are incredibly respected by
their customers, and have an outstanding design and manufacturing team.”
H.K. Designs has also appointed Joyce DeNatale as vice president
of sales and Donna Cutillo as senior merchandiser. Both of those executives have
experience with the Touch Set brand.
