MJSA Awards $10K to Students

RAPAPORT... Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America (MJSA) has awarded a total of $10,000 in scholarships to three students pursuing an education in jewelry.

Nicholas Bates, who plans to study jewelry technology and gemology at Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology, received $4,000, MJSA said. Quinn Davis was awarded $3,500 to aid her pursuit of a graduate-jeweler diploma at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Cathryn Jasterzbski, a graduate student in jewelry and metals at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, received a $2,500 scholarship through the Providence Jewelers Club Foundation.
