Kiran Wins IDCA Award for Export Performance

Press Release: Kiran Gems Private Ltd., the world’s largest manufacturer of white diamonds below 1 carat, has added another feather in its cap. Recently, the company was awarded the ''Highest Exporter of White Diamonds'' recognition  from India by the Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association (IDCA), for its excellent export performance in the previous fiscal year.

The award was presented to Mavji Patel, the managing director of Kiran Gems, during IDCA’s reception at 28th annual gala event at the JCK Las Vegas show on June 2, 2012. Kiran had also won the ''Highest Exporter Award in DTC Category'' for the same period from the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) earlier.

“We perform and award comes by, focus is the performance,” Patel said.

Recently, Kiran ramped up its production facilities to boost its production and achieve best-quality standards. Sarin had also recognized Kiran’s singularly for the highest number of Sarin machines installed in its production units, the highest in diamond industry. A new 200,000 square feet, state of the art factory is underway and is in its final stages. This new factory is located in Vaishali, Surat and is scheduled to be operational by the end of this year. On completion, this new factory would serve as the diamond manufacturing headquarter for the Kiran Group.

Besides production, Kiran has also expanded  in China. Kiran has opened offices in Shanghai and Shenzhen to cater to the increasing needs of its customers in China. In jewelry, Kiran recently added the India market to its portfolio and has plans to offer best of the fashion and bridal jewelry products.
