RAPAPORT... We have today, 24 June 2008, filed a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3 ), an organization that has ties to the FBI and Justice Department in the U.S., on the two recent incidents of fraudulent activities reported by our members as having taken place on RapNet.

Both incidents have involved Bragar Business of Geneva, Switzerland who has misrepresented himself as both Eshed Diamond Group and Laad Diamonds Inc (not RapNet members), not to be confused with Eshed Diam Ltd and Ladd Diamonds Inc, genuine RapNet members.

We are taking the fraud seriously in an effort to make the RapNet trading environment safer and more secure for all members.

We urge all RapNet members to be very cautious and to please contact us if they come across any person or company who they feel may be acting fraudulently. Please check RapNet member credentials when transacting with members you may not know.

We will update this message as soon as we get more information from the law enforcement and regulatory agencies investigating the matter.
