Diamond mining companies dominated the news this week led by Rio Tinto's decision to weigh selling-off its diamond mining assets, while Lucara Diamond and Botswana Diamonds reported financial results and updated shareholders on key pipeline projects. Stellar Diamonds reported strong maiden resource estimates from its Tongo project and Stornoway Diamonds reached a governing arrangement with the Crees for the Renard development project in Canada.
