RAPAPORT... Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH is opening in Grand Prairie, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, on August 17 at the new Paragon Outlets. This OFF 5th will be a 27,548-square-foot retail space and outlet store's the ninth location in Texas. An assortment of brands will be offered for women’s and men’s apparel, fine jewelry and children’s collections. Jewelry options will include gold, diamond, pearl, and colored pieces from Roberto Coin, John Hardy, Judith Ripka, Lagos, Stephen Webster, Stephen Dweck, Ippolita, Tara Pearls, Nava Zahavi, Michael Kors, Heather Benjami and Anzie. “We are thrilled to open Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH’s ninth location in Texas at the Paragon Outlets,” said Robert Wallstrom, the president of Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH. “We look forward to bringing the Grand Prairie community top designer merchandise at great prices.” The store is modeled after Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH’s ''luxury in a loft'' design to maximize efficiency and flexibility, enabling easy layout changes with no hard aisles and only one consistent hard-surface floor throughout. Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH will celebrate the opening with a private party for top customers tonight, on August 15, when 10 percent of all sales will be donated to the Dallas-based charity Paws in the City.
