RAPAPORT... Luxury Swiss watchmaker Hublot is opening a boutique at the North Park Mall in Dallas, Texas, marking its ninth U.S. location. The store is operated in partnership with Ares Distributors and is the second of five to eight locations planned to open in the next three years, according to Hublot. Ricardo Guadalupe, the CEO of Hublot, said, "It was a clear choice for us to tap into the Dallas market to pursue our retail development. Hublot's bold designs are the perfect fit for its upscale clientele, which is dynamic and sophisticated." The 1,000-square-foot Dallas boutique will feature black marble, dark leather and chrome-finished metal decor to convey the ''chic and lavish ambiance'' associated with North Park. The store offers distinct retail zones and a designated VIP area to provide an additional level of privacy. The Dallas location brings the total number of Hublot boutiques worldwide to 62.
