Press Release: Following tremendous success, the next edition of the U.S./International Israel Diamond Week will be held this summer. The huge diamond market in Ramat Gan welcomes all authorized diamond traders worldwide.  The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) and the New York Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) takes another step forward with the ''Summer Edition'' of the U.S./International Diamond Week scheduled for August 26 to 29, 2013 in Ramat Gan.

The presidents of the IDE and the DDC,  Yair Sahar and  Reuven Kaufman, call upon diamond traders to save the date and ensure their benefit  from a worldwide initiative for trading loose diamonds, and at perfect time for renewing their inventory with new goods directly from manufacturers, before the Hong Kong Fair and the holiday season.

The event will take place in IDE's spacious and secure trading hall, furnished with state-of-the-art equipment. It will exhibit a vast range of loose diamonds - every size, color, and type, totaling more than $1 billion in value - at attractive prices suited to the trade.

Sahar said, "After the amazing cooperation between our bourse and the New York DDC, which brought hundreds of diamond traders from all over the world to Israel, in direct contact with hundreds of Israeli companies – large, medium and small – Reuven Kaufman and I agreed that we must take advantage of this enormous success for the benefit of all bourse members and authorized diamond traders worldwide. Diamond traders have a need for this kind of show - it presents a unique business platform, the first of its kind in the world, at minimum cost and with maximum security – with no need for costly booths, advertising and marketing expenses.  Everything is convenient and accessible amid a friendly ambiance."

Participants in the previous event said that the IDE-DDC cooperation had created remarkable synergy between the Israel and New York exchanges. At the conclusion of the spring edition of the diamond week, many participants said "We'll be back" and "This should happen at least twice a year." For that reason, the U.S./International Israel Diamond Week will be held again in August – so save those dates.
