RAPAPORT... Diamcor Mining Inc. sold 4,752.95 carats of rough diamonds from its Krone-Endora at Venetia project in South Africa for $856,119 or $180 per carat.   The majority of the rough diamonds that sold were recovered in conjunction with ongoing testing and commissioning exercises. There was no significant increase attributed to the higher average per-carat value achieved due to the inclusion of larger rough diamonds in this tender, according to the firm.

The company believes this sale represented the best price per carat to date, with recoveries from previous  tenders at $143 per carat in November 2012 and at $133 per carat in July.

Diamcor is installing a final crushing circuit at the main plant to further increase the effective processing of larger-size stones.
