Press Release: Kama, the retail arm of Kama Schachter, one of Asia’s leading diamond exporters, manufacturers and retailers of diamond jewelry, will be participating at the first Global Gems & Jewellery Fair (GGJF) scheduled in Dubai at Atlantis, The Palm, from March 20 to 22, 2014.  An assortment of stunning cuff and tennis bracelets, elegant cocktail rings, handmade lightweight necklace sets, beautiful ensembles and much more will be showcased at the show.

Organized by the Dubai Multi-Commodities Center (DMCC), Dubai’s and the region’s global gateway for commodity trade and enterprise, and the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) India, the GGJF presents a great opportunity to India’s gem and jewelry manufacturing industry to foster and further promote global trade. A premier by-invitation-only international trade fair, GGJF will attract over 600 select buyers from across the globe and will see participation of over 130 exhibitors who will showcase the very best in diamond, gold and colored stone jewelry at the fair.

Looking forward to meeting new customers and showcasing the brand Kama at the first edition of the show, Colin Shah, the managing director of Kama Schachter, said, “Dubai is the ‘City of Gold’ and poised to be ‘The Jewellery Destination of the World.’ Dubai’s jewelers source jewelry from almost all manufacturing nations and cater to the needs of over 180 nationalities. GGJF has  not only given us an opportunity to showcase Kama to the international retailers but also provide us a platform to network with prospective clients from Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, Russian and the CIS region. The opportunity seems to be promising and we are excited about our participation at the first GGJF.

“Pro-active policies implemented by Dubai, like zero taxation, low import duty, etc., also contribute to making Dubai’s jewelry industry an emerging opportunity for manufacturers like us. There has also been a noticeable paradigm shift of consumer preference from traditional gold jewelry to contemporary diamond-studded jewelry. Keeping this in mind, Kama will be showcasing exclusive collections of stunning cuffs, handcrafted diamond necklace sets, cocktail rings and large pendant-earring sets at the fair. We are positive that the collection will be well received,''  said Shah.

Jewelry from Kama is an unmatched assortment of spectacular designs in variety of settings, metal colors and diamond sizes. The design team has been working on a mix of traditional, contemporary and modern concepts that cater to the needs of specific markets. Each jewelry piece in this beautiful collection showcases marvelous designs crafted in 18-karat white, yellow and pink gold.

It’s time to make a striking statement with stunning adornments from Kama.
