Botswana Diamonds to Receive Additional Funds for Orapa

RAPAPORT... Botswana Diamonds reported that it will receive $340,000 from the liquidation of its 35 percent interest in Bugeco, a private Belgian company which holds an interest in an exploration concession in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
The funds will be used to help finance the company's exploration program in the Orapa region of Botswana where the company is currently conducting a joint-venture with ALROSA. Last week, the company was awarded five new prospecting licenses in Orapa.
